![]() ![]() If so you could get your midi recording the way you want them and then record the audio track when you are happy with the structure ? I'm sure ther may be some latency issues but this could be addressed by nudging the recorded audio. Isn't it possible to create the midi in Sonar midi track and the midi playing the hardware synth sound via audio cables back and through Sonar ? Just out of curiosity (noting that I don't have a hardware synth in my setup): I would pick up "Sonar Power" by Scott Garrigus to help get you up to speed. The more conventional way to go about it is to control th 01W through midi and, when are happy with the track, record it from the 01W into Sonar. That is a more technical job than I would ever do (but I am sure others have done it). In order to record your 01W sounds, you would need to use a sampler, such as VSampler, Kontakt etc. It does not load the actual samples into your computer. Yes, running audio cable means you are recording audio (.wav) of your 01W.Īll the intrument definitions do is allow you to scroll through and select patches in your 01W from within Sonar. ![]() Running audio cables means it is recorded as a wave file right? ![]() ![]() I wanna play and edit my midi using my O1 sounds. Then what is the O1W instrument definition file used for? Can it load my O1W sounds into the PC? The onboard GM sucks. ![]()
